STRETCH STORY BOX

Stretch is embarking on a series of digital story telling projects in prisons. This started last year with the succeful project at HMP Addiewell in  partnership with Glasgow Open Museum who provided us with amazing handling boxes to take into the prison and act as starting points and inspiration for stories. In April we visited HMP Peterborough and repeated the project with objects from Peterborough Museum. The results of both these projects can be seen on our vimeo site if you have a look around on there. We now have funding from the Community Learning Innovation Fund and NIACE to work intensively in womens prisons and produce a toolkit for future digitial story telling in Prisons. We are delivering this project in partnership with Hibiscus, a charity that works with foreign national prisoners. This particular group are often over looked with arts and education projects and we are happy to be bringing a new way of working to the table
